I live on the Connecticut shoreline, not far from the quaint New England town where I grew up. I have always had a love of the outdoors, changing seasons, animals, and being on the water. As a child, everything from my mother's flower gardens, trees in the woods and tide pools at the beach influenced my art. My artistic outlets included creating stained glass, charcoal sketching, and painting before focusing on black and white film photography. Through word-of-mouth and increased interest, I have become specialized in portrait and wedding photography since 2009.
As a photographer, I enjoy capturing natural, candid portraits, conveying the spirit and personality of each subject. I have years of experience with a wide variety of events, including: family reunions, sports, charity events, birthday parties, large and small weddings, family, infant and pet portraits, modeling sessions, and boudoir shoots. I'm also honored to be the Official Photographer for 3 local charitable events.
